Horror Short	This movie starts off from being in third person perspective with use of extreme close up shots and then switches to first person perspective.	This movie creates a very scary feel to it through its use of low key lighting – everything is very dark. There are occasional lightning flashes that light up the room.	The background music appears to be some sort of children’s toy charm but it has a very sinister feel to it. There are lots thunder sound effects to add to the suspense	The setting is in the girls bedroom, there is nothing that has elements of horror too it other than a old ticking clock and at 1:31 there is a medium shot of this clock
Horror clip	The starting clip is an extreme long shot of the nun stood at the bottom of a brightly coloured corridor.	The nun is stood at the bottom of a brightly coloured corridor – the contrast between her dark outfit and bright colours of wallpaper create elements of evil	A sound motif is used every time the nun is in view and it is used as a referential code so we associate that sound with the character, this creates a lot of suspense and is very chilly as you know something is about to happen	In the room with the paintings, there is a painting of a creepy house and a painting of the nun herself, and a old vinyl which starts to play gospel music
Romance short	Variety of different shot types and lighting – Mainly close ups.  Fisrt shot is an out of focus shot of people walking out of a door – the camera then focusses on a boy – this shows he is the main character	Mainly close ups and dramatic music . This is too make it more personal to the viewer to get them more emotionally involved. High key lighting	No diagetic sound apart from the very start and the whole short movie is just the buy talking. Dramatic music playing in the background to create an atmosphere – this dramatic music only starts as he approaches the girl	A variety of locations are shown in this video – a lot of them are outdoors such as lakes and fields – elements of nature show happiness and purity setting a comfortable atmosphere
Romance Short	At 1:34 there is an establishing shot of the entire ship with jack and rose on the very tip of it showing how small she is compared to the ship.At 1:57 there is an extreme close up of both their faces At 2:03 there is an extreme close up shot of rose and jacks hands touching this is to get us more personal and emotionally involved	High key lighting with very warm tones such as oranges, reds and pinks as the sun is setting. These colours are associated with love and compassion which is relevant to the scene	Starts off with diagetic sound and as rose approaches jack, dramatic non diagetic background music starts to play – this sets a heart warming atmosphere – dramatic music starts to increasingly intensify at 1:28 indicated this is the climax of the scene	At the very of the clip, rose and jack are kissing and then the background and foreground start to transition into blue tones and everything starts to fade away showing the ship decaying underwater – this symbolizes what jack and rose could have had which sadly decayed away
